We are currently only accepting new patients who live within our practice area (see applicable postcodes) and do not have an existing GP in Leiden. Your application can be made online (in English) or at the practice in English. An acquaintance appointment (Kennismakingsgesprek) is normally part of the application. You will be asked to provide ID and Medical Insurance details.
If you have non-dutch medical insurance you can still register with our practice but as an uninsured (passant) patient. You will be asked to pay (cash or debit card) for any treatment on the day. An invoice will be given to enable you to reclaim from your medical insurance provider.
You do not need to register with our practice if you only require travel vaccinations.
The practice consist of one family practitioner (GP) and usually a family practitioner trainee. The trainees remain in our practice for a year. They appear to work independently, but are reviewed and guided by the family practitioner and the University of Leiden.
There is also a Physician Assistant (POH). She mainly attends patients with chronic diseases, such as asthma, COPD, cardiovascular problems and diabetes.
Our Practice is open Monday through Friday from 08:00 to 12:30 and 14:00 to 17:00. We offer an evening appointment on Tuesday between 18:00 and 20:00. We are open 52 weeks a year and are closed only at the weekends and public holidays.
We have an Emergency Line 071 576 8918 press 1 for use from 08:00 to 17:00 Monday through Friday.
In case of an acute emergency call 112, the national emergeny line.

With the free Uw Zorg online app, you can easily and safely arrange all online care with your own GP.
Appointments for patients are normally scheduled for 10 minutes. When making an appointment please indicate if you may need more time (a double appointment) to explain your medical condition or discuss other health concerns.
For test results or any other questions you can telephone the practice between 14.00 and 16.00.
We have a dedicated prescription (recept) on 071 576 8918 press 2, which is available 24 hours per day including weekends, or go online via our herhaalrecepten link. Prescriptions can be picked up at your Pharmacy after 15.00 hours the next working day.
If you would like to see a medical specialist, a referral from a family practitioner is required to make an appointment.
